If you’re sick to death of your under eye concealer creasing and caking and making you look older than you’d like the world to think you are, this collection of tutorials to teach you how to apply crease-free concealer I found on the Wayne Goss YouTube channel is just what you need.
I’ve learned so many concealer tips from these tutorials, and especially love the techniques for hiding under eye bags!
1. How to Stop Your Concealer from Creasing, Caking, and Getting Into Lines!
The first 2 minutes of this clip are sponsored, but the tutorial itself is fabulous, so skip ahead to the 2:00 mark. You won’t be disappointed! Wayne suggests loads of great products, and I’m most intrigued by the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream and MAKE UP FOR EVER Lift Concealer as I’ve heard FABULOUS things about both. He also has great tips for those who have severe dark circles and cannot avoid cream concealers.
2. Flawless Concealer Without Creasing!
If you like a more natural look when it comes to concealing the bags under your eyes, and want to ensure the finished look is crease-free and lasts ALL DAY, this tutorial is for you. My main takeaway was to invest in a good finishing spray. Wayne suggests Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray, but there are heaps of other options out there as well.
3. How to Stop Concealer from Creasing!
This is an old tutorial, but the tissue trick REALLY works. I have been using it with my foundation for ages, but never thought to try it under my eyes. Silly me!
4. 5 Different Ways to Apply Concealer!!!!
While all of the tutorials I’ve shared contain great tips for getting crease-free concealer, they don’t actually teach you the techniques for application, so I wanted to include this tutorial as well. I personally use my fingers and a Beauty Blender to apply my concealer, but Wayne shares lots of other methods that work just as well in this tutorial. You just have to find what works best for you and your skin!
